Business and Technology

Being a business management major with a track in HR, technology impacts my major and career in many different aspects. For example with social media being so popular, it’s a way HR can advertise job openings, employee discounts, or even promotions that the company is offering. In respect with my major having advanced Microsoft computer skills is a must. People in HR use technology software daily to keep track of pay roll and sorts of documents in order to keep a business in line. For example when using careerbuilder.com most jobs in HR require that you have advanced computer skills.
